Suffice it to say I'm not the greatest pool player the world has ever seen. Though my partner Paul and I did lose, I got a couple good shots out of the deal.

The Dam at Simon Pearce
The view of Simon Pearce from the Quechee Covered Bridge. I have so many great memories of days and nights spent swimming underneath this bridge. My buddies and I bought some rope and put a rope swing underneath the bridge about 5 or so years ago. You can check out a picture of it (about halfway down the page) here.

Honeybees
Swarm
1. A body of honeybees that emigrate from a hive and fly off together, accompanied by a queen,
to start a new colony.

The Battle of Bennington Monument
I took this photo while driving back from New Jersey after visiting some friends for the weekend. My tripod has gotten far less attention than need be lately.

Saint-Gaudens
If you've never been to the Saint Gaudens National Historic Site in Cornish, N.H., you should check it out. It's a great place to spend a beautiful fall afternoon.

Fall in Vermont
I took these in Quechee and Woodstock, Vt. a few years ago. I'm lucky to live in such a beautiful place.

Discoveries
My cousin found a pond on a map. These are things we discovered while en route to that pond in Springfield, NH.
A glass jar with mystery liquid.
A slug.
We ate it, though the question remains as to what this actually is.
There were tons of spider webs along the way.
Some sort of mushroom we did not eat.

Birthday Steak
Granted my birthday was in August but I came across this photo and it brought me right back. I was treated to this sandwich at The Tip Top Cafe in White River Junction, Vt. I highly recommend you eat there.

No Signal
My cousin Kyle and I went for a hike to a remote pond in Springfield, NH. The GPS was having problems picking up a signal.

The Tunbridge World's Fair
Always a good time. My only beef (pun intended) with the pig races is that there is a whole lot of build up and then...BAM....they come out of the gate for one lap and it's over. Those pigs have the life.
Fair goers lining up to get a good view of the famous pig races.
It's a really big deal around these parts.

There's Something In The Water
My Aunt Megan doing her Martha Washington impression. It's all fun and games until....
....somebody gets hustled by an (allegedly) giant snapping turtle with the elusiveness of Jaws. Yes, this is real life.

Fresh Herbs
These beautiful herbs were grown in my friend Andrea's garden. I can also vouch that they were delicious because she used them in some pizzas I had the privilege of eating. If you've never had pizza cooked on the grill, you have to try it. Or just go to her house, take some pictures for her blog, and she will feed you delicious things. On second thought, don't, because thats my gig.
